BOLDplanning Inc. Announces Hiring of Chad Bowers as Senior Consultant

NASHVILLE, TN, August 13, 2019 — BOLDplanning Inc., the nation’s front runner in preparedness planning consulting and software, announced today the addition of Chad Bowers as Senior Consultant.

As an original company co-founder, Mr. Bowers has over 18 years of expertise in the emergency management industry, with extensive experience in preparedness planning classroom training.

During his career, Mr. Bowers has directed major continuity planning projects at the state, local and private sector levels. He currently serves as BOLDplanning’s project manager with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the development of continuity plans for all its agencies.  Mr. Bowers is also currently spearheading continuity planning efforts for the California Courts system and its 58 Superior Courts.

In addition, Mr. Bowers has chaired numerous other continuity initiatives with the State of Vermont, the City of Chicago, Denver International Airport, and the University of Notre Dame.

BOLDplanning Aligns Sales and Customer Success Teams with U.S. FEMA Regions

FEMA divides the U.S. into ten distinct regions as a means of supporting the unique needs of various parts of the country. BOLDplanning CEO, Fulton Wold, Receives Emergency Management Agency of Tennessee’s (EMAT) Business and Industry Recognition Award

About Mike Harryman, M.A.

Mr. Harryman was confirmed as the Oregon State Resilience Officer by the State Senate on May 25, 2016. The position was created in response to the Oregon Resilience Plan, a 50-year, long-term planning document that addresses reducing risk and improving recovery for the next Cascadia Earthquake and Tsunami.

Prior to this, Mr. Harryman served as the Director of Emergency Operations within the Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division: Health Security, Preparedness and Response program. In this role, he served in numerous command leadership roles in relation to the State’s Public Health response efforts, including the 2009 H1N1 response, the 2011 Japanese Radiation response, and the 2014 statewide Ebola planning and response. He also served as the Incident Manager for all state operations.

Mr. Harryman is a veteran of the 1991 Gulf War, and in 1999, retired after a 22-year career at the rank of Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army/Oregon Army National Guard.

Mr. Harryman received his master’s degree with honors in Emergency and Disaster Management from the American Military University. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
