BOLDplanning Inc., the market frontrunner in consulting and online solutions for preparedness planning, announced today that its CEO, Fulton Wold, has been awarded the Business and Industry Recognition Award by the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee (EMAT). The award highlights private sector individuals who have made significant contributions to the emergency management field, both in Tennessee, and across the nation.

Fulton Wold has spent the last 14 years supporting and improving emergency management industry practices. Through BOLDplanning Inc., a company he co-founded in 2004, more than 10,000 emergency preparedness plans have been created through the firm’s online platform.

Mr. Wold and the BOLDplanning team have led multiple Tennessee-oriented projects. These include statewide GIS and hazard mitigation planning projects, Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) development for Weakley County and Williamson County Schools, and an ongoing EOP project for the City of Sevierville.

Mr. Wold said, “As a native Tennessean, it is truly an honor to receive this recognition from my home state’s emergency management professionals. I’m grateful for this award, and look forward to continuing our support of Tennessee’s efforts to make its communities safer and more prepared.”

The award was presented at the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee (EMAT) annual conference on October 24, 2018 in Chattanooga.
