Where there’s a will, there’s a way. That’s the thinking of BOLDplanning and clients like Los Alamos County, New Mexico. Both recently managed to come together–safely via Zoom–for two days of Continuity of Operations (COOP) Kick-off Workshops amidst growing COVID-19 concerns.

During the online workshops, representatives from each county department spent time learning about the fundamental elements of a COOP plan from BOLDplanning Subject Matter Expert, Kayla McMahan. They also gained some invaluable, hands-on experience using the BOLDplanning.com platform. A number of workshop participants even started developing their own departmental COOPs (all of which feed into the county’s overarching plan) right on the spot.

Special thanks to Beverley Simpson, Emergency Services Commander for Los Alamos County, for hosting the virtual workshops.

Until we meet again for mid-term workshops in February, keep up the great work!
