As explained in the previous blog post, FEMA posted the Notification of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) for Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA), Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) early last week. Now, the Agency is planning to host a series of webinars to provide interested parties with information about its funding priorities and the grant review process. These webinars will cover the NOFOs—worth $660 million—for the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) and Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) programs specifically. 

Registration for these timely and informative webinars is limited to 1,500 people. Accordingly, the BOLDplanning team encourages everyone involved in state, local, tribal, and territorial hazard mitigation planning to register as soon as possible. Here’s the current webinar schedule:
