The COVID-19 pandemic might be keeping us apart (physically) but it’s not preventing us from working together (remotely). This is especially true when it comes to emergency preparedness planning for the future. Just this week, BOLDplanning and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania came together online for two days of Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning workshops. And, they did so with tremendous success!

On Day 1, May 12, 2020, 142 individuals representing a variety of Commonwealth departments joined BOLDplanning representatives, Will Minkoff, CBCP, and Karla O’Grady, PCP (Level 1), for an interesting and interactive COOP refresher workshop. And, on Day 2, May 13, 2020, 75 people participated in an Advanced COOP Workshop, which was also led by Will and Karla. Both workshops were followed by all-important Q & A sessions, giving everyone the opportunity to ask questions (and get answers) specific to their continuity planning needs.

Special thanks to everyone who participated in the online workshops and for remaining focused on emergency preparedness in these uncertain times.
