BOLDplanning, a division of Agility, recently facilitated a series of consultative workshops to support business continuity planning for Community Health Northwest Florida. Representatives from various departments first met virtually with BOLDplanning’s subject matter experts to establish essential functions and recovery procedures in response to business disruptions due to natural disasters and other critical events, e.g., power failures and cyberattacks. Following these remote, one-on-one sessions, the organization’s business continuity plan (BCP) was built out using the BOLDplanning.com platform (it’s the solution of choice for over 10,000 continuity, emergency, and hazard mitigation plans nationwide). The BCP was later shown to Community Health Northwest Florida during an on-site workshop in the beautiful city of Pensacola. With questions addressed and a handful of modifications made, the organization is now well on its way toward implementing the BCP and ultimately strengthening its resilience.
On behalf of everyone at BOLDplanning, special thanks to everyone who participated in these remote and in-person workshops. Keep up the great work as you further hone your business continuity plan and, of course, serve the healthcare needs of your community.
