Charlotte County, Florida is now in the process of modernizing its Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan using the BOLDplanning.com platform. The project began with two, in-person COOP Kick-off Workshops, led by BOLDplanning representatives, Kayla McMahan, Manager of Training and Customer Solutions, and James Woulfe, CBCP, PCP, in February 2022. Together, the workshops were attended by more than 30 different county departments, including the City of Punta Gorda (the county seat).
Special thanks to Ellen Pinder, Charlotte County’s Emergency Management Coordinator, for overseeing the activities and taking the next step of scheduling a Mid-term COOP Workshop. It will take place on May 27, 2022.
