Someone once said, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” And for Tennessee-based BOLDplanning and the City of Chicago, that’s certainly the case. Even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, both organizations safely moved forward with their Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning priorities on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

That’s when BOLDplanning’s Manager of Training and Customer Solutions, Will Minkoff, along with three other company representatives, facilitated a full day of virtual COOP workshops. Interactive training was provided during two sessions, morning and afternoon, both of which were attended by more than 60 people. Dozens of city departments took part and the feedback, according to Will, was “very positive.”

The virtual workshop was coordinated by Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications’ Senior Emergency Management Coordinator, Adriana Sanabria.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the day’s COOP planning activities. From Will and the rest of the BOLDplanning team, the pleasure was ours. We look forward to seeing you again (hopefully, face to face) soon.
