The COVID-19 pandemic continues but so do the continuity, emergency, and mitigation planning efforts of public and private sector organizations nationwide. In fact, the pandemic has made clear the necessity of having updated and accurate plans in place for government agencies and businesses, alike. We know this to be true at BOLDplanning for two reasons.

First and foremost, our team (though working remotely) has continued to support clients in every way possible, including the hosting of online workshops and webinars, and the creation of customized training videos. Second, the number of inquiries about the BOLDplanning.com platform has increased exponentially over the last few months. (Thank you for your interest!)

To meet the demands of customers and potential customers, BOLDplanning has now resumed travel—when needed and where safety precautions can be ensured—for its team members. Global Solutions Manager, James Woulfe, CBCP, PCP (Lvl 1), was the first to do so the week of July 6, 2020, when he visited with the San Joaquin Superior Court in Stockton, California. It was there that James conducted three days of socially-distanced Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning workshops, which allowed planners from every department in the court to review/revise its COOP plan while still in activation mode. (It’s been that way since March 17, 2020, due to COVID-19.)

Rest assured, BOLDplanning is taking every possible safety precaution while traveling and when meeting with your planning team. This includes wearing face coverings, washing hands, practicing good respiratory etiquette, i.e., covering coughs and sneezes, and of course, practicing safe social distancing.

Prior to any travel, a BOLDplanning representative will work directly with your organization to understand its current pandemic environment and workplace safety policies. He or she will also help ensure every training room and class size is compatible with social distancing guidelines.

Further, BOLDplanning will continue to do these things for as long as necessary to ensure your safety (and ours) as we support your organization’s preparedness and continued resilience. (BOLDplanning is continually monitoring and abiding by the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention as we learn more about the virus.)

The health and safety of our clients and our team are of paramount importance as we continue our mission to constantly deliver top flight services through emergency, continuity, and mitigation plans that genuinely work today and tomorrow.
