The Central Florida Disaster Medical Coalition (CFDMC) hosted two, full-day Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan introduction and refresher workshops in early December 2019. The workshops were held in Volusia and Seminole counties on Tuesday, December 10, and Wednesday, December 11, respectively. All planning activities were led by BOLDplanning subject matter experts, James Woulfe, CBCP, PCP Level 1, HHPCP, and Emily Long, PCP Level 1.

Lynne Drawdy, CFDMC Executive Director, regularly hosts COOP workshops in support of the coalition’s mission to “develop and promote healthcare emergency preparedness and response capabilities in the East Central Florida Domestic Security Task Force Region 5”. To date, CFDMC has hosted more than eight workshops across its jurisdictional area. Additional workshops for coalition partners are scheduled for May 12 and 13, 2020.
