BOLDplanning is happy to announce that company representative, Brittney Whatley, CBCP, will serve as the Membership Director for the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP) Mid Tennessee Chapter for 2020/2021. Whatley, who has extensive experience in continuity, emergency and hazard mitigation planning, first joined ACP while working for the State of Arkansas as a disaster recovery planner in 2016. After coming on board with BOLDplanning and moving to Tennessee, she joined the Mid Tennessee Chapter, where she (like the company) actively participates in ACP meetings and activities.

The ACP is a non-profit trade association dedicated to fostering continued professional growth and development in effective Contingency and Business Resumption Planning. ACP is the recognized premier international networking and information exchange organization in the business continuity industry. The Middle Tennessee Chapter of ACP (one of the fastest growing chapters of the association) is devoted to helping increase the awareness of Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management and Business Resumption Planning to the private sector as well as to public agencies on the local and state-wide level.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to get more involved in the local planning community,” said Whatley. “It is my sincere hope that more and more continuity professionals will join this great ACP chapter over the coming months, and that everyone will realize the many benefits of membership (just as I have and continue to do).”
