For months, the Minneapolis Office of Emergency Management has been overseeing a project to improve the City’s Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan using the BOLDplanning platform. All that hard work paid off last week as company representatives, Brittney Whatley, CBCP, and training manager, Will Minkoff, CBCP, conducted plan finalization workshops with each department in the Minneapolis COOP system. Both are happy to report that everyone participating in the days’ activities saw significant improvement with their departmental plans (all of which roll up into the City’s overarching COOP).
In fact, BOLDplanning’s quantitative assessment of the recent work done in Minneapolis revealed that nearly everyone left with their departmental COOPs being 95-100% complete. And, of that number, more than half left with their departmental plans 100% complete! What a great accomplishment!
