Last week, California’s San Joaquin General Hospital (SJGH) participated in the next phase of their plan development cycle, Mid-Term Workshops, for Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning. Facilitating the days’ activities was BOLDplanning senior project manager, James Woulfe, CBCP, CHEP, CHPCP. As anticipated, he successfully guided SJGH planners toward the identification and data entry for critical plan elements, such as Facility Resources, Alternate Facility selection, Essential Records, and Essential Functions.

Woulfe, along with BOLDplanning Regional Director, Karla O’Grady, hosted a series of COOP Plan Development Workshops at SJGH on April 22 and 23, 2019.

Woulfe noted that, “The effort and progress made by departmental planners is apparent in the course of only a few months.”

In the next phase of the plan development cycle, BOLDplanning’s Certified Business Continuity Professionals will conduct plan reviews, a quantitative and qualitative assessment of each hospital department’s plan, complete with feedback and ‘steps’ to complete each section of their COOP.
