This week BOLDplanning representatives, Karla O’Grady (Customer Care) and John Taylor (Business Development) are in the beautiful North Star State of Minnesota. Why? For the 58th Annual AMEM Conference, of course. The event, which is sure to be enlightening and fun as usual, is being held in Breezy Point, and runs September 15th through 18th.

AMEM, or the Association of Minnesota Emergency Managers, is comprised of over 430 county, city and other emergency response planners throughout the state, all of who live by the association’s motto, “Leading Minnesota Readiness.” The association strives to develop a solid network of experienced Emergency Management Professionals; foster and advocate the development of procedures and programs which advance disaster preparedness throughout Minnesota; insure a high caliber of training and professional development; and cultivate a professional society for its members. And, that’s exactly what they’ll be doing at this year’s annual conference, which is appropriately themed “People, Planning & Partnerships: The Pathway to Success.”

Throughout the course of the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in numerous highly informative workshops, network with peers and colleagues, and meet with vendors from across the country. For those who visit BOLDplanning’s booth, you’ll be able to see our online platform for emergency, continuity and mitigation planning up close and personal. You can also register to win a DJI Spark Mini-Drone to be given away at the close of exhibits.

If you’re attending the 58th Annual AMEM Conference, stop by and see Karla and John. They’d like nothing more than to spend some quality time with you—BOLDplanning customers and potential customers alike—while in the North Star State.
