With the 65th Annual IAEM Conference and EMEX well underway, hundreds of public and private sector emergency management professionals from around the globe have converged on the beautiful city of Long Beach, California.

Here, members of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and others, including top suppliers to the fields of disaster preparedness and homeland security, are engaged in various activities and events centered around the the theme, “Navigating a Journey with the Whole Community.”

Collaboration is clearly top of mind, as the many presenters share past experiences and lessons learned so others can better prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions and disasters.

Among those in attendance are BOLDplanning representative, John Taylor, as well as company founder, Fulton Wold. BOLDplanning, an industry leader in Emergency Operations Planning (EOP), Continuity of Operations Planning/Continuity of Government Planning (COOP/COG) and Hazard Mitigation Planning (HMP), is occupying booth #418. Product demonstrations are available during exhibit hours, or upon request at info@boldplanning.com.

BOLDplanning is also holding a drawing for a Parrot Bebop 2 drone, which will be given away during the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, 2017. So, if you’re participating in IAEM, make sure you stop by booth #418 to register as soon as possible. And, help spread the word about the conference and the drawing by tweeting #IAEM17 now.

Lastly, mark your calendars! Next year’s IAEM conference is scheduled to take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan, October 19-24, 2018. The BOLDplanning team will definitely see you there (if not sooner)!

That’s the word from the floor at IAEM 2017.
