In keeping with our commitment to support the operational needs and requirements of the healthcare community, BOLDplanning, a division of Agility, recently conducted continuity workshops for the Tennessee Highland Rim Health Care Coalition and the Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers.
The Tennessee Highland Rim Healthcare Coalition covers a large part of the state, including Cheatham, Davidson (Nashville), Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson counties. Its mission is to enhance and sustain the coalition’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from short- or long-term incidents that have a public health and medical impact within Tennessee Emergency Medical Services, Region 5.
The first (of four) BOLDplanning workshops for the coalition involved kick-off emergency and continuity plan training using the company’s online platform. (It’s the solution of choice for over 10,000 emergency, continuity, and mitigation plans nationwide.) Many coalition members were in attendance, including planners representing hospitals, dialysis clinics, outpatient surgery centers, home healthcare providers, and long-term care facilities.
The second kick-off workshop, facilitated by BOLDplanning representative Matt Eyer, CBCP, PMP, PCP, took place at the Tennessee Public Health Association Mid-Cumberland Regional Office in Nashville. Kudos to Tabitha Hobson and Mac McCormick for organizing and facilitating the training!
The mid-term workshop for the Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers (MACHC) was held on December 9, 2022. The MACHC supports Delaware and Maryland community health centers to deliver comprehensive, high-quality primary care to those in need. It, too, was led by Eyer, although remotely, to accommodate the busy end-of-year schedules of coalition members. Special thanks from BOLDplanning to MACHC representatives Delaney McGonegal, Nora Hoban, and Tracy Blanchard for seamlessly organizing and facilitating the online training.
