On Monday, May 17, 2021, Georgia’s Cobb County Emergency Management Agency and Tennessee-based BOLDplanning hosted a briefing for executive leadership to review the migration of the Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP) to the cloud-based platform, CobbContinuity.com, and other updates to the plan.

The meeting was hosted by BOLDplanning’s Manager of Global Solutions, James Woulfe, CBCP, and Cobb County Emergency Management Director, Cassie Mazloom, and attended by 22 participants.

The next step in the plan update process is requesting, receiving, and reviewing plan improvement feedback from the executive group and their delegates.

Additionally, Cobb County, the third largest county in the State of Georgia, is  partnering with BOLDplanning to update its Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The required public comment period for the plan drew a close on Monday, May 17, 2021, as well.

For now, it’s full steam ahead for both of these preparedness planning initiatives. Look for more information to come in the weeks ahead!
