On November 17 and 18, Fort Bend County, TX officials from more than a dozen departments participated in workshops delivered by BOLDplanning. These workshops were designed to increase awareness of continuity planning principles, while also modernizing and updating plans in their customized BOLDplanning.com online planning platform.
The objective of the partnership with BOLDplanning is to update all county department continuity plans and make them accessible 24/7 in an online environment.
The project is led by Frank Garza and Rodney Grimmer in the Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness Department, and James Woulfe, Manager of Global Solutions at BOLDplanning. Workshops targeting additional plans and updates are scheduled tentatively for December 15-16.
