As you probably know, FEMA posted the Notification of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) for Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA), Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) earlier this month. The NOFOs, per the Agency, are for the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) grant program, $160M, and the new Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) pre-disaster hazard mitigation grant program, $500M. (BRIC is a new FEMA program that replaces the existing Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) program.) 

Now, to help folks better understand the NOFO, the application process, and how to avoid common application pitfalls, FEMA is hosting a series of brief, but highly informative webinars. The first of the series took place on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, but other sessions are still available. The schedule is as follows:
