Recently, BOLDplanning and the Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System (SERS) sat down to discuss the results of its recent Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan review. Such reviews, as continuity planners know, are integral to ensuring preparedness in the event a business disruption (like so many organizations are contending with today). They not only provide the current status of COOP plans in relation to common standards but also give planners specific directions for plan completion or improvement.
Attending the COOP Plan Review meeting on behalf of SERS (one of the nation’s oldest and largest statewide retirement plans for public employees) was the agency’s primary continuity planner, Dawn Miller. Representing BOLDplanning was James Woulfe, CBCP, FEMA PCP. The meeting was held in the state’s capital city, Harrisburg.
Note: For all BOLDplanning clients, please know that COOP plan reviews are continuing and that all COOP Plan Review Meetings will be conducted online.
