For Tennessee-based BOLDplanning, it’s always a pleasure to visit with customers in the neighboring state of Georgia. Last week, February 17-21, 2020, it was company representative, Brittney Whatley, CBCP, who made the rounds.

Whatley’s first stop was Cobb County, where she participated in a department head meeting. There, she provided an update on the work that continues between the County and BOLDplanning, which is a long-standing Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). She and the group also discussed the Hazard Mitigation Planning (HMP) project, which will kick off in April 2020.

Next, Whatley met with the entire emergency management team for Dekalb County. After performing a “health check” of their Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan, she and the group solidified a date for the County’s upcoming tabletop exercise. It will take place upon approval by local commissioners.

Whatley’s final stop was Georgia Gwinnett College, which is a long-time user of the BOLDplanning.com platform for COOP and EOP. There, she and representatives of the college took part in several brainstorming sessions on how to improve the quality and manageability of its emergency preparedness program.

“I am so impressed by the consistent effort our Georgia customers have in pursuant of an effective and impactful preparedness program,” said Whatley. “I am also so excited to continue to represent BOLDplanning in partnership with each one of them.”
