Last week, California’s San Joaquin General Hospital (SJGH) completed the last phase of its Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan development project—Plan Finalization Workshops. During the two days of hour-long, one-on-one working sessions with BOLDplanning trainers, Karla O’Grady, CBCP, PCP Level 1, and James Woulfe, CBCP, CHEP, CHPCP, PCP Level 1, SJGH planners reviewed the work they have done following feedback received in their Initial Plan Reviews. During this process, SJGH was able to Finalize 31 of their 38 department COOP plans!

Congratulations to Nasir Khan, Emergency Management Program Coordinator/Paramedic Nurse Liaison, for providing leadership while overseeing a successful project and delivering the first continuity plans at SJGH.

SJGH joins Dameron Hospital in San Joaquin County in using the BOLDplanning approach to create continuity plans for their organizations.Â
