BOLDplanning team members, Cathleen Atchison, MEP, PCP, and Chad Bowers (company co-founder and now a BOLDplanning consultant) recently had the opportunity to visit with BOLDplanning clients in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
There, Pennsylvania’s long-time commitment to Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning continued as clients offered three different levels of workshops (facilitated by BOLDplanning) to their departmental planners.
Each morning, all were invited to attend beginner-level training to refresh their knowledge and skill set. The afternoon sessions continued to build on that information, taking a deeper look at the COOP planning system for the advanced planner. The last day of training was spent challenging and validating all the information the planners had been working through, with everyone participating in a scenario-based workshop.
Such workshops, as most of BOLDplanning’s readers/followers know, are incredibly valuable to improving organizational preparedness.
To everyone in Harrisburg, thank you again for your hospitality and your commitment to COOP planning. Keep up the great work, and we’ll see you again soon!
