“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night” may keep the mail from being delivered. And, inclement weather like this week’s snow storm in Syracuse, New York, couldn’t keep BOLDplanning from taking part in the New York State Emergency Management Association (NYSEMA) conference. Company representatives, Cathleen Atchison, MEP, PCP, and John Taylor, Director of Business Development, were there with bells (and boots) on ready to meet with several regional directors, and state and local officials during the annual event.

NYSEMA is a non-profit organization supporting and enhancing local emergency management efforts in the state. Its yearly conference provides a forum to discuss current trends and topics, share information about the latest tools and technology in emergency management and homeland security, and advance the work of the Association. The 2019 NYSEMA Conference was held February 12-14, 2019, at the all-new Embassy Suites at Destiny USA, in Syracuse, New York.

“The weather may not have been ideal, but the conference was a huge success as always,” says John Taylor of BOLDplanning. “It’s always a pleasure to spend time with customers and potential customers under one roof. We especially look forward to working with Wayne County on their COOP (Continuity of Operations) Plan and several new projects in the near future.”

Special congratulations to BOLDplanning’s drone winner, Jay Wilson, Director, Rensselaer County, New York. Enjoy!
