Peter Hodes has been working in the Emergency Management industry for the past seven years. Over this time he has worked on planning and technology projects with seven state emergency management agencies, three state level public health departments, and over 100 locally-oriented projects. Peter currently serves as Director of Operations of Bold Planning Solutions/Nashville Division and is Senior Manager of Project Development for our Asian Markets. 

Peter has been heavily involved in all aspects of emergency management, but carries an extensive knowledge specifically in emergency planning. His planning expertise includes Continuity of Operations (COOP), Mitigation, and Emergency Operations Planning (EOP); all of which have been based on the national standards of NIMS (National Incident Management System) and EMAP (Emergency Management Accreditation Program).

He has directed the efforts of multiple State, County and City level planning initiatives that have involved trainings, seminars, and the implementation of technical solutions. Most recently in 2006, Peter served as Senior Project Coordinator for the California EPA COOP Planning Project and the Denver COOP Planning Project. He has also been involved in recent projects with the States of South Dakota, Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee.

Before entering this industry, Peter Hodes had an extensive career working with two Fortune 500 companies at the headquarters level. His focus was on business development and technology; including sales, marketing, software design, implementation, and technical user training. Peter has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the American Graduate School of International Management, a degree with honors from the University of Florida, and speaks fluent Japanese.
